ABC Hobby USA Genetic Build – 4wd 1/10 “Mini” chassis

And now the body unveil! I gave Larry @ Kustom RC Graphics a few different photos as inspiration and he pretty much nailed what I was looking for. For this build we went with a more basic, realistic paint job. I think he did a FANTASTIC job. All the side markers, lights, window trim, etc is all paint, no decals.

Here it is with all the wheel wells trimmed out.

Let’s get back to those tires. The foam inserts are now dry and ready to insert into the tires.

Inserted.

Then we mount them up to the wheels.

The Genetic came with extra nuts installed behind the wheel nut. I’m assuming they are used as spacers so the wheel hex doesn’t come off during shipment.

This is how it came. So I removed those and started mounting up the freshly glued tires.

Now we’re rolling!

Starting to look like a car!!

Can’t wait to run this. A sidenote, at this stage, the chassis basically is dragging the ground, without a lipo in it.. so I put in some spacers to lift it off the ground a little bit.

Much better ground clearance.

The spacers I installed.
