JConcepts releases the Pressure Points

When Ryan Maifield won the 4wd SCT class at the Reedy Truck Race of Champions, he was using a prototype tire from JConcepts. When he ran at the Arizona State championships, again he used the same tire to take the win. More recently, he won Pro 2 Mod in the 2011 JConcepts Clash. Finally, JConcepts has released the tire he used in all of those wins, and they are calling them the Pressure Points.

The Pressure Points are a low-height tread design, designed for high speed courses with either wet or blue groove traction conditions. JConcepts incorporated their new ribbing in this tire. It has a web of ribbing on the inside of the tire, which helps keep it from distorting. Combine that with the included JConcepts Profiled closed cell insert, and you have yourself a tire that will definitely stand up to those hard corners.

Another feature designed into this tire is rolled edges. The outside edge of the tire is designed to better transition into the corners, and limit traction rolling.

Features:

  • Available in Soft (Blue), Super Soft (Green) Indoor Soft (Gold) and Outdoor hot (Orange) compounds
  • Low-height tread, specifically designed to tame high-speed courses
  • Inner side-wall ribbing, limits carcass collapse and increases support
  • Includes light-weight and durable Closed Cell “Profiled” inserts
