We first saw Anthony Mazzara back at Motorama. We never did get the chance to interview him there, luckily he came to find his way up to the Pro Series. When we saw Anthony at Motorama, he won the Expert E-Truggy A-Main, and finished top 5 in the 4WD SCT and E-Buggy Expert A-Mains. We knew he’d be a top contender. He finished 2nd in both Pro Truggy and Pro Buggy in Rome. Here’s what he had to tell us.

Have your been to CRC Raceway before? Yes, this is his third time.

How do you like this year’s layout? It’s cool. It’s challenging. It seems easier than it is, you have to be disciplined.

How did he get involved in RC Racing?  He used to play basketball and tore his ACL. Found R/C and stuck with it.

Do you prefer Electric or Nitro? Nitro.

Any tips for new RC racers? Take it easy, don’t over do it.

What is your favorite racing class? 1/8 Nitro Buggy

Do you do any R/C besides Off-Road Racing? Nope, only off-road racing.

What is your favorite type of soup? French Onion Soup.
