Finally got to spend some quality time with the DPL. Overall I am very impressed. It performed as well as my two PowerLab 8’s in a much more compact form factor. The case is smaller than my two PowerLabs and feels very solid for its size. The weight and black case/label added to the sense that it’s a serious, well-built battery management instrument. It’s nice to be running with a 48v supply. The input wires are cooler and the buck/boost transitions are completely eliminated. I really like having the choice of two independent chargers or controlling both channels from a single console.

Having two separate sets of controls and displays simplifies the user experience and reduces the UI context switching.

This is the most powerful and versatile charger I have ever used.The options are endless. One power supply or two, same voltage or not. Use as a single charger with expansion channel or as two separate chargers. Also the Charge Control Software (CCS) makes observing the results and selecting options extremely easy.
