New Year’s day in the Pacific North-West saw the running of the first annual Hangover race at 4 Seasons R/C in Olympia, WA.   The format was qual points, with two of three heats counting, and X Factory Team driver Chris Gould lined his X – 6 Cubed up second on the mod buggy grid for the 8-minute main, just one second behind TQ.  In the opening minute of the race, with Gould right behind him, the TQ shorted the quad jump;  Chris’ Cubed handled it easily and he took off.  “That’s all she wrote,” said Gould, adding “I won by half a lap, with more than a lap on 3^rd place.”
