Tessmann & O.S. take NeoBuggy 1/8 indoor Worlds

Just months after his double at the Dirt Nitro Challenge in Phoenix, Team O.S. driver Ty Tessmann added a first in the 1/8 scale nitro buggy class at the prestigious Neobuggy Indoor Worlds in Harper Adams, UK.

Tessmann began the weekend by winning the 1/8 Electric Buggy Class, and parlayed that into a wire-to-wire win over a field that included Cody King, Jared Tebo and many other world-class drivers in the nitro class. In practice and the first couple of qualifiers, Tessmann relied on O.S. 19XZ-B for ultra-smooth power delivery on the track’s low-grip surface. However, as track grip came up, Tessmann switched to the 21XZ-B Speed to take advantage of its extra bottom-end punch and top-end speed. “Both engines ran flawlessly,” Tessmann said. “Our fuel mileage was just over 12 minutes.” The factory-tuned 19XZ-B Speed and 21XZ-B Speed Spec II are part of the popular O.S. Speed series of engines. O.S. congratulates Ty Tessmann for adding another first to his 2014 racing resume!
