Also while at the Short Course Nationals, we got to chat with Losi Product Manager, Ryan Dunford. He was laying down some fast laps and ended up TQ’ing both 2wd Modified SC and 4wd Open SC. Because of the rain out, this also means he won those classes by default. Way yo go Ryan!

Have your been to the Short Course Nationals before? I was here for last year’s.

How do you like this year’s layout? I like it. It’s more open this year for the 1/5 scales. The layout is fun.

How did he get involved in RC Racing?  When I was 7 I lived across from a hobby shop. I’ve had fun ever since. Been into R/C over 30 years now.

Do you prefer Electric or Nitro? Electric by far. As we make nitro easier, it is more fun (for example the ease of starting the new Losi TEN-SCT)

Any tips for new RC racers? Remember that they are toy cars and you are there to have fun.

What is your favorite racing class? 4WD Short Course (Pro4).

Do you do any R/C besides Off-Road Racing? Not any more. I’ve tried other things before but always come back to cars.

What is your favorite type of soup? Black Angus Potato Soup.
