CRC Gen-X10 LE sweeping the majors in 2013

The CRC Gen-X10 LE World GT car continues to dominate World GT racing. Randy Grosse took his CRC Gen-X10LE to a win at this year’s ROAR Nationals in Horsham, PA just weeks after Brian Wynn took a dominating T.Q. and win at the 2013 Snowbirds with his LE.

The easy going 46 year old from Sawyer, North Dakota flew into Horsham, PA with a weekend of fun on his mind. Randy was looking forward to hanging out with old friends, chillen with the CRC team and just hoping to make the A-main. Randy is a busy father with a huge farm and lots of responsibilities, not the kind of guy who has the time to test and practice non-stop. When he arrived at the event, Grosse focused on nothing but racing and when the triple-A main format started, he found himself in a battle for possibly 3 National titles. In World GT, Randy and his CRC Gen-X 10 made it look easy, winning A2 and A3 in dominating fashion. RG1 used the CRC 3702 1s pack coupled to the Hobbywing 1s speed control for race winning power and control. The only options on Randy’s CRC Gen-X 10LE was the long upper arms (in the short position, like stock) and front graphite brace. Congratulations Randy, great to see a win go to one of the nicest guys you will find in the pits!

Knapp wins again, CRC Xti wins all 3 A-mains!

Andrew Knapp took his Trinity powered CRC Xti to another T.Q. and win at the 2013 ROAR Nationals. Earlier in the season, Knapp won the IIC in Vegas and now capped off the 2012/2013 race season with another solid performance. Knapp ran his Xti in the transverse configuration with standard geometry. For tires, CRC Magenta front and Pink compound rear tires were used. As usual, for the most steering and stability, the Black Art R8C body was not only Andrew’s choice, but an overwhelming choice of many of the competitors. Congrats to the multi-National Champion, Andrew Knapp.

Taking the second spot on the podium was the new World GT National Champ, Randy Grosse. RG1 was very close to a double National Championship taking his CRC powered Xti to a win in A3 and a 2nd overall position making it a 1-2 CRC sweep. Like his 1:10th scale entry, Randy chose the power from the CRC lipo 3702 6300/50C and traction from CRC’s Pro Cut 1:12th tires.

A big thanks for to the Horsham crew for putting on a great event on the east coast. Congratulations to all the racers and a special mention to Randy Grosse and Andrew Knapp for taking ROAR National titles for CRC.
