JQ wins Mexican Nats Race 1 with Schaedler

JQ wins 1st round of Mexican Nationals:

On March 9-10. 2013 the 1st of 4 rounds of the Mexican National Championships took place at the “Pista RC Pachuca Off-Road” on 2400 meter elevation above sealevel. On this compact but very fluent European style track layout, Joerg Schaedler could take the win with his JQ THECar.

After a couple mishaps during the 3 Saturday 10min qualifying rounds he had to start on Sunday from the 1/4 finals. He managed to win his 1/4 final and despite a bent front left shockshaft during the 30min semifinal he started from 7th position into the 40min A-Main. With an aggressive drive jumping the 15 meter triple-section on the back straight consistently he managed to win with almost 2 laps advantage.

“I felt very confident with TheCar all weekend,  especially over the big jumps and high speed turns it handled very well and the many big landings were no problem for The Car. Also thanks to JQ TheEngine, I managed to jump the triple coming out of the banked left turn at full speed consistently. It was the fastest engine at this oxygen starving altitude.” – Joerg Schaedler

Great Job! JQ THECar winning in countries that JQ has never been in! Awesome feeling!
