Project Overkill: RJ Speed Digger

Now we’re going to start to assemble the chassis. Here’s everything in the chassis parts bag. The Digger uses flanged bronze bushings throughout the kit. The ones in the sideplates actually come premounted and are glued in.

The first step of chassis assembly is to attach these braces to one side, starting with the center brace that also supports the rear body mounts.

Before we install the other side, we first have to install the front end/servo mounting plate as seen below. We also install the wheelie bar rollers.

Next comes the front end stuff.
