Chuckworks Slice 4X LCG Chassis Conversion Build: Slash 4×4

First off, you will need to take your stock Slash 4X4 apart to get all the parts and pieces ready. I started w/ the removal of all of the electronics (VXL ESC + Motor, receiver and Traxxas 2075 servo)

Then you remove the entire rear assembly by removing the gear cover first, then removing the 2 upper screws from the rear chassis right in front of the rear bulkhead. Then flip the truck over and remove the lower 2 screws from the rear pod as shown in this image. Pull the rear bulkhead/A arms/pod from the chassis

Then remove the rear battery strap holder from the stock chassis, this will give you access to the bulkhead that holds the center bearing/slipper gear/clutch assembly. It takes a little finesse, but it will pull right out. Pull the driveshaft back and out of the chassis at this time as well and set aside

Now to remove the front end. First remove the 2 upper screws from the front chassis right under the bulkhead. Then flip the truck over and remove the 2 lower screws that hold the supports to the chassis. Pull the front section forward and off of the chassis as a unit. Now you are ready to begin the Slice4X Chassis build
