Time for the servo. This is a Savox 1256TG.
There are little plastic blocks to mount the servo to the chassis.
This steering linkage will be used to tie from the servo horn to the steering bellcrank
We’ll be using this Racer’s Edge aluminum servo horn
Now we can mount the steering linkage to the new horn
The servo is held to the chassis by a couple of screws.
And we connect the linkage
The kit calls for this small mount to be used for the receiver.
You’ll notice the slot for the antenna tube.
These are the standoffs for the center diff
They get mounted to each other
And the whole assembly gets mounted to the chassis
Here’s what it looks like from the top
Now we can set the center diff in place, being sure to first slide the driveshafts into the outdrives.
This is the top half of the center diff mount. It serves a few pruposes. It holds the center diff in place, guards the spur gear, has a larger plate for mounting the ESC on the rear side, and a shelf for a personal transponder in the front.
