As RC Soup has grown over the past couple of years, we’ve been through our share of projects. They’ve varied from shootouts, to vehicle builds, reviews, racing, or just bashing around town.

With these projects, we’re finding various products that we can count on over and over again. Literally. We’ll pull that particular item out of one project and keep bouncing it to the next, and the next, and the next. And it just keeps taking the abuse, never letting up, never wearing down, seemingly asking for more.

The Savox SC-1258TG servo has been used in more projects than I can count. From the SSC Slash 4×4 project, to Kevin’s SC10 and T-RCE Slash 4×4, Jarodd’s Tekno SCT410 and SC10 4×4. We used them in both Tamiya Clodbusters from our 2012 Children’s Miracle Network charity raffle. We have used and abused this particular model servo. It keeps coming back for more. It has proven to be both very reliable, and very capable. For the amount of 1258’s we’ve used, and their performance in every application we have used them, it is our pleasure to  give them this award. Congrats!
