Next up, we’ll put the differential assembly into the front axle housing. First, we need to put bearings in the housing for the input bevel gear.

At this point we’ll also put the bearings in the steering knuckles.

Next we insert the input bevel gear into the front axle housing

I used some water resistant grease inside both axle housings. This will help keep the water out, and help prevent corrosion when I hit the creek beds.

We set the differential in the housing

Then attach the opposite side of the housing

Now comes the C hub carrier

The steering knuckles get installed next
