Bag H

In Bag H, we’ll assemble the rear CVD’s and Hubs. First we need to remove the platic tree from the rear hubs

The Pro Kit gives you CVDs for all 4 corners. These are for the rear

The hubs get bearings on both sides

The wheel hub assembly is identical to the front

Just like the fronts, make sure you use a drop of Loctite on the grub screw that holds in the drive pin

To mount the hub to the rear arm, there is a captured hinge pin and a small bushing. This bushing can go in front or back, and is used to adjust wheelbase.

A look at the rear suspension at this point in the build

The book gives you a recommended length for the rear upper camber links. These will be adjusted after final assembly to get the proper rear camber

They will get bolted to the hubs first, again avoiding E Clips

Before screwing them to the shock tower, put a dab of silicone on the screw to help prevent binding

The Balls in the end links are actually threaded. So the screw will go through the shocktower right into the ball

This buttons up the rear suspension
