RCSoup 2012 – A Year in Review

Wow did 2012 ever fly by… it was a huge year for us. We covered so much stuff in only our 2nd year and continued a great growth streak both in visitor traffic and awareness of our site and what we do. I feel honored we’ve come this far in so little time. Thanks to everyone for the support!

What happened this past year you ask?

Well, some staff changes occurred. We added Michigan native, Joseph Chuhak to the writing team. Matt Peterson (Co-Founder) just moved his whole family to Florida in the last week for a new job. We wish him well, and he will continue to be a large part of Team Soup, just from down South. He will be doing regular builds, news coverage, and events as he was up here, just with a new Southern Flair. Other contributors, Jim Decker, Jarodd Goedel, Cruz & John Zachary, George Silliman, and now Bill Suave will remain with us and hopefully continue to support our site when they can. We certainly appreciate the help!

As we look ahead to what this year will bring, and how we can improve on what we’ve done… why not look back on some of what we did in 2012?

Let’s not forget we raised $3,305 for Children’s Miracle Network with the help of our sponsors/donators, readers, fellow racers, and supporters. Thank you! How we will be able to top what we gave away this year, I have no idea. We are brainstorming on what we might want to do this year. We have a couple plans brewing.

We want to wish everyone a Happy New Year, and hope that R/C brings some enjoyment to your life this year. Let’s make 2013 even better than 2012!
